Andrew is enjoying his balloon!
Getting curious now!
Cameron is like..."what is this?"
Someone straighten me up so I can play with my balloon!
Bob calls me this morning(02-17) and tells me how it is only 68 degrees
at 0830 in the morning...I take this picture and send it to him saying
"I'm sorry but I can't feel sorry for you:-)"
I went and visited my dad this morning (02-17)...while there I noticed a ladybug
on his kitchen window....I said something to dad about it being there and he says....
"Every morning when I get up I look for him....sometimes he's over here
by the kitchen table and other times he will show up somewhere else...
but he always goes to the window because if you look closely you will see a
smudge to the left of him...."
"That is left over scrambled egg with a little oil in it that I
smash on the window for him to eat after I have my breakfast...."
Dad said he's been in the house with him all winter! Isn't that a great story!
Another beautiful day at Loggerheads beach!
Beautiful sail boat!
The guy looks pretty good from the back also!
Bob, Shelly and Scrappy enjoying the warmth and sun!

her 30th Birthday. They had to take her home early because she kept
falling asleep on top of Scrappy. They were at the Bottle Cap Bar.

In the meantime, it's a little rough in Key West today....
It has been blowing 30-40 knots for the last 3 days. Some brave souls
making the trip to shore and back!
Bob met the owner/president of Renew Sports Cars. He has a boat at the Key West marina.
Sweet looking car it is made of hemp (not the smoking kind :-) - the rope kind.
Their website is http://www.renewsportscars.com/
Oh no....It's time for the Franklin's to go back north!
The boat is ready!
Spent the night in the parking lot...leaving in the early a.m.
Well it's around 2 p.m. and they are in Waterboro, South Carolina
BROKEN DOWN! BOOOO!!!!

I bet you don't see a tow truck pulling a big arse truck
and a boat at the same time too often!
A few hours later they were back on the road and ended up
staying in Fayetteville, NC for the night. Tomorrow they still
have another 400 miles to put in as Jack goes back to work on

It's Saturday 2/21 and I sent Bob, Shelley and Derek this
picture to show them what they were missing!

This is what Shelley and Derek sent me back saying....
"Us thank God!" They are in Marathon, FL.
Even Andy Bittner got into it and sent Bob a picture!
Mandy Bittner said "Even though she wishes this was sand, she had a great
time with the boys in the snow! Ending the day with cookies and hot chocolate!"
See - you can always find something good about snow!
This is Joyce in Lake Havasu, Arizona!
She said it must be February - since they are boating on the lake

I can't wait to see you guys again. We miss
all the good times we have together with you!
Baby swing and puppy chair the boys use
when they are watching "Einstein" on T.V.
(02/22)
Their brains are full now so it's nappy time!
Ok, so I didn't start off to a good start with my weekly blog! But, in my defense, I did think about it constantly especially when I laid down to take a nap!
A lot went on this past week. We learned the bottles we were using for the boys were contributing to their uneasiness (gas) after each feeding...so we tried a different brand, Avent. Boy what a difference they make, providing, you are using the right size baby nipple in it! We mistakenly used a #2 in one of their feedings, which worked very well as to saving time in the feeding process!, but, as you can imagine, they drank themselves full way too soon and were miserable. We quickly learned we had the wrong size nipple in them and immediately changed it out! We also decided to go back to 3 hour feedings, vs. the 4 during the night time hours....they just weren't going for it!
Last weekend the J-Team had lots of company. Shannon stopped by to see the babies, and later in the day Fim, Laura, and Laura's mom, Phyllis stopped by for a bit. They brought lots of food (pasta) and gluten free blondies (some kind of brownie)...it was actually very tasty!
Friday later afternoon Jon & Jen went to Ryleigh's Oyster bar for a semi happy hour and some good eating oysters! They were home in plenty of time for the boys 8 p.m. feeding and bath time. Jon even put the baby swing together that was given to them by Chris and Jaci! I must admit, the boys love it!
Well Derek and Shelley are in Florida now enjoying the warm air and sunshine. They will be in Key West later on today. They will be staying on our boat for the week the Bob flies back up here. He comes back to Baltimore on Tuesday and flies back to Key West on Sunday! Once he gets back, and a weather window is open, he will start bringing Storymaker back north! It will be good to have them both back here in MD although Bob is a little scared about the cold!
Jen's wrist is still bothering her a bit but she is able to extend her arm more and more each day. She did not go back to the doctor's but feels each day she is getting better so for now she is leaving well enough alone!
I'm doing great, just having crazy dreams about grown men wearing poopy diapers and wanting me to lose 10 pounds so they can ask me on a date. Other than that, all's good! :-)
