Storymaker & Dream Catcher are on the move again
We are headed for Key Largo today

Even Phil got up at the wee morning hours to wish us safe travel!

 Just Ducky anchcored
Forest Hill, MD

Miami view on the way out

Lot's of cruise ships in for as far as the eye can see !

Dream Catcher coming under the bridge with
his main sail up...crazy guy!

Miami has it all!

 Nice sailboat

This area is the Miami River
Bob and I plan on doing it next year in our dinghy (Zippy!)

He's calling the ships from the ocean to safe harbor!

D & Shelley....Remember this place?  Marine Stadium?
You took a cab ride there last year and we picked you up on
the side of a hill!  You can barely see the island!

Stilt houses still here!

Dream Catcher with Miami in the background

Now that's sweet!

This looks like it could be fun!

Now there's a lot going on there!

Uh-Oh....this is not a stilt house!

Somebody is having fun!

Our peeper tonight!

Great day for sailing!  That's right!  You heard me right!  We had the mainsail up for a couple of hours...there's a minor issue with our jib so we weren't able to put it out.  No worries, we will get it under control once we get to Key West.  Oh, did I not mention, we are officially headed for Key West now.  We decided to do Fort Meyers in January if we get bored in Key West....hmmmmm....we will see if that happens!

We dropped anchor in Key Largo around 3 or so.  I'll be making dinner for all of us and then hitting the sack pretty early, we are all tired!

Phil is leaving tomorrow for Marathon.  He is taking the outside route and hoping to pull in early tomorrow.  He's doing an over nighter!

We decided to walk Lincoln Road one more time before we left

This is our sunset shot for the night

Sibilla Restaurant (Italian)

Today was definitely a work day for both Bob and I.

Bob filled the water tank, gasoline tanks, diesel fuel and made a trash run.  After all that we went into town and did some looking around and then took a dinghy ride over to Publix to do some grocery shopping.  We are leaving for Key West tomorrow.  We've decided to go there first, and then maybe if we get bored we will head up to Ft. Meyers.

I did dishes for several hours this morning.  Then did some random cleaning of the boat.  And I have pretty much been trying to get this blog done all day long...the internet service here is terrible!

Headed to Key Largo tomorrow with Dream Catcher.  Hadhammer will probably take the outside route and end up in Marathon.  From there he's not sure where he's going, but we will be staying in touch!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Moe gave me this basket last year while in Key West
This year I used it here in Miami to carry our Mimosa's
in for our Thanksgiving toast on Gary's boat!

We have our crystal glasses out for the toast!

I asked Phil to do the honors!

He shot the cork off the back of the boat

We ended up doing 2  bottles of champagne on Gary's boat

You see the little dinghy to the left of the photo
Well it broke down twice...for some reason he can't keep
the motor going so they were trying to row....

So...Bob and Phil are off to rescue them....Gary stayed behind
to keep an eye on the magnificent turkey he is cooking!

Awwww....Happy Thanksgiving to them and their families!

Then we went to Phil's boat for another bottle!

Check out his steering wheel!  It is just beautiful!
Oh, and, nice legs Gary!

Uh-oh....time to stop drinking Mimosa's
Not because we have had too many, but because a wave
came by the same time I was getting ready to pour another
round, when bam! Two crystal glasses gone, just like that!

Well Phil has had enough Mimosa's now...
so it's time to climb the mast!

Believe it or not!....Bob and I found the cork floating in the water
a couple of hours later coming back from Phil's boat after finishing
3 bottles of champagne!  We grabbed it out of the water and have now
turned it into a Christmas decoration with their signatures on it!

Phil on his way over for turkey!!

 Our turkey :-)

Phil was given the job of cutting the turkey!

I had no problem pulling the spiral ham apart since it was already cut up!

Gary was responsible for making the gravy

Bob was responsible for taking pictures! Hummmmm??!!?!

And at the end of the day Jenny & Jon are home from their Thanksgiving
down in Va. with Jon's parents and family.  As you can see, Jenny & the boys are
sleeping peacefully and Charlie looks like he is a little wiped out also!
Even Samantha looks a little tired but she is still making sure all is well!

We too have a kitty....but not as much work as theirs....
Our's like to drink rum & OJ :-)

Awwww....she's snuggling with Bob

Maybe a little too much to drink???

Today was a great day.  The temperature was around 74 degrees with a little wind but a nice Thanksgiving day all in all!

After dinner, we all went our separate ways...with very full bellies!

 D plane! D plane!

Look who stopped by for a visit today!

The sky was absolutely gorgeous today!

 and again

Our sunset!

Gary stopped over for a bit this morning while we had coffee.  It's great having him back around again..yes Gary, we have missed you!

Bob went back to the grocery store today and picked up my spiral ham along with a few other items to throw in our freezer! Yum!

We ran into (Joe & Carol) "Just Ducky" from Forest Hill, MD and chatted with them a bit.  This is their 17th year going to the Exumas so we are going to get together with them this summer to get the gist on where to go!

Gary had a pork roll that needed cooking, so he cooked the roll and brought it over for dinner.  I fried up some Romaine lettuce to put the roll on, along with some Feta cheese...unfortunately, it didn't go over as well as I thought it would.  Bob and I love it...we just assumed everyone would!

After the guys left, Bob and I played a game of cards.  I kicked his butt!  then I quit!  How's that saying go "Quit while you're ahead!"
