While having coffee this morning I heard a seaplane coming in...
Nice landing!
Bob went back to the computer store to pick up my laptop...
It was a very easy fix that the guy just forgot to do...so we had
it back in record time!
Bob called and asked me to walk over to the Franklin's
So I was able to get a different shot of the house boats while
crossing over the bridge! The one with the smiley face is for sale
for $200K!
Bob and Gary at the Franklin's boat
Gary is pretty excited....Jayne is flying in late this evening!
Jack, Shelley, Kyleigh, and Scrappy!
Scrappy's hideout under the Captain's seat!
Sunset with one of the cruise ships
Do you see Venus just left of the contrail?!!?
My dinghy Captain!
I still have this horrible cold but I"m starting to feel better?, I think?
We were going to meet Jayne at Thai Island for a drink or two but her flight was late getting in so she missed her next flight...then we heard she couldn't get on another flight until the next morning because the last flight coming into Key West was already full so she wouldn't be in until the a.m. We did meet up with Matt and Deanna there and was able to spend sometime with them before I/we left....
It was the craziest thing...Matt and Deanna got a call from where Matt used to work, or still does??...They called and wanted to know if Matt and Deanna wanted to help deliver a 2015 54' Lagoon Catamaran to Miami from Annapolis....the company was paying for everything....so they said sure why not! Then they ended up on the same flight as me!! How ironic!
After we get home Bob gets a call from Gary and he said that Jayne was able to get on a flight and she would be here around 10 p.m. By then I was already home and getting ready for bed so I never did get to see her! Luckily, they will be doing the Annapolis Boat Show again this spring, I think, so I will get to see her then!
This is my last night here in Key West...tomorrow I head back north where I hear it is very, very cold!
