Ok, so it's still Thursday night around 11:05 p.m. now.
Jenny knocks on my bedroom door and she says "Mom, my water has broke." I tell her "OK, go upstairs and get dressed and I will be up as soon as I get dressed." I get up (feeling fine) and get dressed. By the time I make it upstairs to her room I'm all of a sudden feeling nauseous and faint. I ended up lying on Jen's bed trying to make myself feel better. I immediately tell her I don't think I'm going to be able to take her to the hospital and I was going to call 911. She was adamant about not calling them because she was afraid they wouldn't take her to GBMC where her doctor was going to be. I told her I could at least ask and grabbed her phone. She has a lock on it so I wasn't able to dial 911 so I asked her if Shannon could take her. She said no she lived in Pasadena and it was too far away. I asked if anyone else could come and get her and she said no. She was thinking as straight as I was at that point! I could tell she was getting anxious so I told her I was going to go downstairs and see if I would feel better. In meantime, she called Jon who is in Va. Well I make it down the stairs and immediately went into my bedroom and laid down on the bed because I knew I was going to pass out. I lyed there for about 3 minutes and told myself I had to get up so I could help Jenny. I get out of bed and head towards the door and the next thing I know I'm lying on the bathroom floor. I could feel blood oozing down my face and saw it all over my clothes. The next thing I hear is Jenny, she's like, Mom I just heard a fall what's going on down there. I told her it was nothing I just wasn't feeling well and had to go to the bathroom. I believe at that point I was on the floor in the hallway, laying in the recyclable trash that I fell into, and then I managed to get into the bathroom so Jen couldn't see me. She said an ambulance was on the way for her and she was going outside to meet them. I said ok, can you call an ambulance for me too. She said, mom what wrong, and I said nothing I just wasn't feeling good and wanted to go to the hospital. So on her way down the stairs I heard her calling them, and I heard her say, yes I know there is an ambulance coming here - I need another one for my mom. She's laying on the floor in the bathroom. They said OK they would send a second one. So Jen tells me the ambulance is on the way and said her ambulance was here so she was going outside. I said OK sweetie I'll talk to you soon. Once she got into the ambulance she told the medic crew about me in the house so they told her they were going to check on me before they left. They came in, I told them I was fine, and to get Jenny to the hosptial. A first responder unit was dispatched along with the second ambulance and they arrived about the same time Jenny's ambulance arrived so they stayed there with me until my ambulance arrived. The best part of all, and Lord knows how it happened, but Jon came into the house prior to Jen's ambulance leaving and yells "Lynn are you OK?" I said yes, just get out of here and get Jen to the hospital. So off they went to GBMC. My ambulance shows up just a few minutes later and they take me to University Hospital. Once we were both settled at our separate hospitals we began texting back and forth.

How do you like my new head wrap!
It's about 12:30 in the morning and I'm
just starting to feel a bit better....
Struttin' with my 5 stitches on the side of my head!
In meantime, I'm texting Jon to find out what's going on with Jen. He said she was doing fine. The doctors were trying to keep the babies inside of Jenny for at least another week if possible. She's having contractions but they are not bad.
At 6 a.m. it was determined that I did not have pneumonia and my CT scan came back fine. They are admitting me though because they want to rule out cardiac problems. I'm still waiting to get tests done. I've been through this enough the last couple of years that I know it's not heart related and I personally felt it was due to the bronchitis/pneumonia I've been trying to beat for the last couple of weeks. But, because of my passing out so much they had to rule out heart issues and try to figure out why I keep passing out or at least getting light headed.
At 6 a.m. Jen's contractions are starting to get stronger. Then around 11:20 or so, I get a text saying "Go time. C section now." At 11:49 I get another text saying "Say hello to your grandsons." Can you believe this, 1st I miss the baby shower because of this cold, then I miss the baby's being born! It's a good thing I came home to help out the kids! So.....Welcome Baby A and Baby B!!
