Great! Mosquitoes love me...but I have lots of Deet! :-)
This guy had just gotten a motor he had ordered two
days ago. He told his son what he needed and his son
went out and got it and mailed it so he would get it as soon as
possible. He owns a 1969 26' Tartan which he saved on the day
it was to be crushed. The boat belonged to his Grandfather
and he couldn't stand the fact that it was about to be crushed
to smithereens! So he saved it and has been sailing it for a quite a
while. However, the couple of weeks he's been without an
eninge and has been sailing only. That was tough since there
was barely any wind, except for the last couple of days!
Beach time!
There was a pod of dolphin swimming fairly close to shore
when we go to the beach. Bob counted at least 11 of them!
Our anchorage area
Do you see all the tiny fish in front of our shadows
One day they are going to be big fish and hopefully
I will catch one of them!
Bob and I walked to Wilmington today to go to
West Marine and Harris Teeters...needless to say, I
had to get my flower shots in!
Look at the berries on this bush
We ran into Mikey Mouse!
Beautiful butterfly! I was hoping I would catch
him with his wings open....didn't happen....
Nice area
The name of the restaurant here was Mellow

PDQ power cat near the fake palm tree
They were one of the first Cat's to come out
with a power version
Crossing the bridge on the ICW
It's weird being the person crossing it instead
of waiting for it to open!
Today was a good day. We walked about 2 miles into town and then back! Of course I didn't wear my tennis shoes and I have plenty of blisters to prove it!
The weather has been mid 70's the last couple of days but the winds have been quite strong.
Bob got a lot of good video on the dolphins but it takes way too long to download :-(
It's nice to be anchored and off the boat for a bit!
