 It's 5 a.m. and I'm awaken by a pretty good size wake
and I'm kind of surprised since we are anchored in a pretty small
lagoon area...then I hear voices right outside my boat....

I get up to check things out and all of a sudden I have a spotlight in
my face!!  OK, now I'm really suspicious!!

It turns out there were 3 dinghy's out there with about 50 marines
in full gear swimming across the 1/2 mile lagoon....they had to swim
over, back and then over again where a bus picked them up.
Now that was neat!

The Cat boat is hangin' in with the best of us!

Remember the pink house from last year, and the year before,
and the year before!

 House on ICW

This guy is jumping up and down on top of the pole trying
to dig it in deeper?

 There's the giraffe!

 Our sun setting...

Our sunset!  It was beautiful!

Today was a great day.  It got up to 78 degrees with 0 knots of wind but we still had smooth motoring!!  We made it into Wrightsville around 2 p.m. (I think?)

Bob is so disappointed that he hasn't seen any turtles sunning this year....me too....I want to see one before him now!

We saw some dolphin again today and a ray jumped out of the water twice while Bob was driving.   That's one of the problems of not driving a lot, you don't get to see as much of the fish activity!  And, when I do finally drive, I tend to hit bottom once in a while...like today for example.  I was so busy watching a fisherman put pots out, I didn't realize I was steering where I was looking and all of a sudden, bump!  And Bob just appears out of no where every time something like that happens!  How can that be!

Tonight was a great night for sitting outside having a drink and just talking.  We feel so blessed to be able to do what we are doing and having the friends and family that we have.

Go Marines!
