Remember this picture from last week? :-)
Cameron's nose was really stuffed up which meant a lot of crying and
uneasiness.....however, after putting in saline drops and doing a little nose sucking :-)
everything came out at once and this is the look he had on his face immediately!
It was so adorable...it was like...Wow! how did you do that! :-)
Charlie is still feeling a little left out...I told him not to feel like
this because he gets to be the first puppy the kids will always remember
and that one day he is going to have all kinds of playmates!
The snow is starting here in Baltimore...
Bob is leaving Key West as we speak...
He, however, is in 80 degree weather with lots of sunshine!
Our morning wake up call!
Our routine now is to clean noses, put on clean diapers,
take our iron, and drink our bottles! Yay!
See how happy we are once all that is done!
Sam wants to know what all this white stuff is!
Hmmmm....Bob has just dropped anchor in 80 degree
weather in Little Pine Key, FL and we have lots of snow to
deal with!
Here's what you are missing Bob!
Grandma is pacifying baby and petting Charlie at the same time!
Everyone needs attention!
Jenny finally got out of the house!
She got to shovel the sidewalk!
But not before she took Charlie for his walk!
Mom & Dad burping babies!
Even Sam is feeling a bit left out....
This cat never comes and lays next to me!
Mom taking care of 2 out of 4 of her babies!
Good morning mom!
I'm a happy camper!
What about taking a picture of me!
Sam is like...."I'm confiscating this bag!"
Thank you Robyn for such a beautiful picture!
You can always find joy in the snow!
This ones for you Bob!
No! It's not bacon Derek!
Can't remember who posted this on FB
but I had to post it for Bob!
Bath time!
It's Cameron !
and again...
and again with the hair washing!
I love bath time....
Grand mama didn't get any of Andrew because she
had to take me upstairs and get me dressed!
One of our mom's friends, Anne, gave us these matching
outfits! Do you see how handsome we are in them!
Look at Andrew, he (they both) are starting to focus on us
and we believe we have seen real smiles from them!
This is an exciting moment! Cameron is fixated on something
on the other side of the room...possibly pink votives??
What a week this has been for everyone. I think all 3 of us had at least one "active-poop", yes, that's right, and "active poop!" My life is now about "active poops!!" And I love it!
One morning I got up to feed the boys and Andrew decided he needed to pee during mid diaper change so I put my hand up just to keep it from going in his face or wherever it was going to go, and then had to turn around and change his clothes and diaper changer!
The same morning I went to feed Cameron and his nose was still a little stuffy so when I gave him the bottle he started to choke on it a little bit, so I picked him up to pat his back and while we were face to face he decided to sneeze with a mouthful of milk and got me all over the face! You gotta love these babies!
They are both growing so quickly now. You can see that they are starting to focus on us and are beginning the smiling stages. They are even learning how to grab Jen's hair, she leaves hers down, while I put mine up! No more barf in my hair!
The boys had to go on iron. They were both below the low level and will be on it for a while. We are trying to figure out the best way to do this. Put it in formula? and make the whole bottle nasty? Nah!! Try 2 separate servings??? Nah! One huge gulp first thing in the morning? Yes, we (Jen & I) think this would work the best. They will become quite the fighters once they get a whiff of it the second time around if that would be the route we would take. Right now we are seeing how their little bellies are handling it. Today was the first day of a full dose before their bottle!
The babies still have another week or so before their next appointment. As of right now they are still on a 3 hour feeding schedule, mainly due to Cameron, he is always ready within 30 minutes of his 3 hours. Andrew on the other hand is willing to wait until Cameron is taken care of. I think he could probably go 3.5 hours but without Cameron on board it doesn't make much sense.
Bob left Key West on Thursday, he ended up staying between Little Pine Key and Big Pine Key, FL. for the night. He is on his way to Key Largo (I think) today. The weather has been in the 80's and sunny. Lucky him! He's hoping to make Miami by Saturday night. Right now it looks like there may be a weather window out in the ocean on Sunday!
Yay for me! I got the blog done on a Friday!
(Next week I will try to have more close-up shots of the boys!)
