OK, lets keep in mind, we have been planning this for a
long, long, time....I can't help it if I'm here....and you are there!
In case you're wondering....NO I did not catch a fish
let alone the BIG one....but after I finish reading this article
I will be quite the fisherman??!!?!
We decided to walk into town today
This is on Lincoln Road
Bob said "Get a picture of those guys, that's what I want to be!"
Restaurants for blocks on the outside
Very nice restaurants I might add!
Not sure what the violation was but the white
mini-van is getting ready to be hauled away!
Headed for the Miami Beach!
They have bar huts all up and down the beach!
Another view
Another view
Bob said "Look those leaves look like tongues"
The next thing I know....I'm laughing my butt off!
Bob wanting to converse with her! NOT!
Paul says there is a story with this hotel ....
In 2006 (I think) we did a cruise out of Miami and stayed here
in South Beach the night before....need I say any more,
at least that's how the story goes!
Looks like some sort of bug??!!?!
Mango's
According to the story I heard the next day, this was
the last spot we were in before Bob decided it was time for
me to retire for the early afternoon!
Now this is a car that belongs on the strip in South Beach!
Look at this little guy prancing!
He just tried to take down 2 120 pound dogs!
We are tired but Bob still has a smile on his face!
Coming home from downtown!
Storymaker sitting beautifully waiting for us!
Our sunset!
Meet Samantha (kitty) and Charlie (pup)
They are Jon & Jen's children as of now!
I think Charlie better be moving on because Sam looks
like she is going to tear him into shreds....aw the joys
of motherhood!
As some of you may or may not know my daughter Jenny is
pregnant with twin boys! This is us with her just prior to our
leaving on our trip. She is 17 weeks here!
Here she is 23 weeks
Just so you know she is OK :-)
Here she is in the hospital in Iowa! She was going somewhere with
her Dad, Uncle Don, and Aunt Paula when all of a sudden she
passes out! When she came to they of course wanted to know if
she was alright, and she was like "yes, get out of my face!" Then she
passed out again 4 more times before finally getting her to a hospital!
Come to find out....The doctor said it was a case of the "pants!" The
elastic was sitting on the femoral artery and kept cutting off her oxygen...
needless to say, as soon as she got home she took the pants off...but
on the way home she did pass out again! Hence...the picture
of the pants!!
Now it's my turn! I'm shopping now in South Beach!
This store had the cutest clothes but they were all display items
They didn't have any left to see in the store!
How disappointing!
iPood is my favorite!
This one is pretty cute too!
This is where we will be taking the boys for ice cream one day!
Can you tell I'm excited! I just can't believe it's happening!
What a delightful day today was. The weather was warm and sunny and the walk was long and wonderful, and tiring! I actually have blisters on my feet!
Bob and I have decided we will definitely have to walk Lincoln Road on a Saturday night. That place is going to be happening! Luckily, the only time I'm thankful, is the sun goes down early so I should be able to stay up for the walk! We should be home by 8 p.m. at the latest! hee hee!
